Please ensure you complete all sections in as much detail as possible and a senior clinician will review and respond within 3 working days.
The query maybe able to be completed remotely, you maybe redirected to more appropriate channels, or invited to book for a telephone or face to face appointment, as appropriate, based on need.
Some areas where this may work best would include:
1) Medication related questions/ queries/ reviews
2) Contraception related queries
3) Test results and interpretation
4) Long term condition review queries
5) Simple urinary tract infections
6) Blood pressure control
7) Skin related problems
Online booking is also available for First Contact Physiotherapy appointments.
All consultations are by appointment only.
Each appointment is for one patient and one medical issue. If you have more than one issue then please request a double appointment.
Non-urgent advice: Timings
From 8am for appointments on the day.
There is a limited number of appointments released at 2pm for the afternoon.
Less urgent appointments are released on a rolling basis and will be offered if available and appropriate.
Non-urgent advice: Cancel an Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. Persistent defaulters will be written to and maybe removed from the list.
You will receive a text message 7 days, and a further, 24 hours before your appointment with a cancellation link, that can be used anytime. Alternatively, you can use the NHS App or SystmOnline (link below) to cancel directly.
Rushcliffe Enhanced Access Service
As a Rushcliffe patient you can access routine appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are best suited for things that will not need ongoing review by your usual practice.
You can book through your surgery during opening hours, for appointments between 6.30pm and 8pm in the evening on weekdays and between 8.30am and 5.00pm at weekends. If you request one of these appointments, which are outside of usual working hours you will be offered a slot with a Rushcliffe GP, Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or First Contact Physiotherapist at one of five locations across the borough.
The location will depend on the day of your appointment.
The additional evening and weekend appointments will be available at:

- Castle Healthcare Practice in West Bridgford
- East Leake Health Centre
- Keyworth Medical Practice
- Radcliffe-on-Trent Health Centre
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ENHANCED HOURS APPOINTMENTS ARE PREBOOKABLE ONLY BY CONTACTING YOUR OWN GP PRACTICE. THERE IS NO WALK IN SERVICE OFFERED.
